Inspired by our beloved American flag, the Americana Knit Beanie Pattern is now live! This is a quick hand knit that you can make for your loved ones or to sell for markets! Yarn used is a super bulky soft and durable wool acrylic blend that is completely machine washable and dryable.
This pattern features 4 sizes: Baby-Toddler Size, Preschooler Size, Teen to Regular Adult Size and Large Adult Size: perfect for the whole family!
Skill Level: Intermediate, this pattern requires some experience
- knitting in the round
- fair isle knitting (stranded colorwork knitting)
Materials:

Lion Brand Yarn Wool Ease Thick and Quick, super bulky weight #6

US 13 (9.0mm), US 15 (10.0mm) circular knitting needles

US 15 (10.0mm), (optional) to be used for the crown if the number of stitches are too few for the circular needles

Scissors

Gauge: Using larger needles, knit in the round, 4” (10 cm) square in stockinette = 9.5 sts and 13.5 rounds. You can substitute smaller or larger needles to meet gauge.
